Valentina Palladino has been writing about consumer tech for over a decade, focusing on smartwatches, fitness trackers, laptops, smart home gadgets and accessories. After graduating with a degree in journalism from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School, she started off her career in the Good Housekeeping test kitchens and moved on to work at publications including Wired, The Verge, Tom’s Guide and Ars Technica. Now as Engadget’s Deputy Editor of Buying Advice, she manages all of the site’s buying guides, gift guides and tech deals coverage.
